Brandon Hood is from a small town just south of Nashville called Franklin, Tennessee. He started his golf career his junior year of high school by working at a local country club. He then decided to pursue a career in golf by attending Mississippi State University to study Professional Golf Management and Marketing.
In the summer of 2015, Hood interned at a golf course in Phillipsburg, New Jersey where he first learned tournament management. From there, he received an internship with the American Junior Golf Association in the summer of 2017 to assist in operations with tournaments throughout the Northeastern United States. Following graduation from Mississippi State in 2018, Hood returned to the AJGA to serve as Assistant Tournament Director. Throughout his time with the AJGA, Hood operated golf tournaments in nineteen different states, including North Carolina.
Hood joined the CGA staff as Tournament Manager in January 2019.
